Haitian-American Swimmer Naomy Grand’Pierre to Represent Haiti in the 2016 Summer Olympics

Haitian-American swimmer Naomy Grand’Pierre has officially qualified to represent Haiti in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She will be the first woman in history to swim for Haiti at the Olympic Games.

“I look forward to representing my Atlanta Dolphin Swim Team and certainly the country of Haiti on one of the most prestigious stages of competition,” Grand’Pierre said.
